Approximately 40 vendors, volunteers and friends of the Emporia Farmers Market gathered for a pot-luck meal on Sunday, March 13 at the Emporia Presbyterian Church, West Campus.
Tracy Simmons, Market Manager, shared final numbers from the 2010 market season. It was a record breaking year with $90,064 in sales, topping the last record season (2009) by $2,116.
