Friends of the Emporia Farmers Market will be cooking up a great batch of spaghetti to feed riders of the Dirty Kanza 200 the evening before the big adventure in the Flint Hills. Community members are invited to come dine with, meet and greet the riders.
Pre-sale tickets for the spaghetti meal are $8 for adults and $4 for children age 10 and under. The meal will include the market’s homemade pasta sauce, salad, and garlic bread generously donated by Subway. Desserts by farmers market vendors will be available for an additional dollar. Order your tickets online at www.emporiafarmersmarket.org/dk200pasta.htm or stop by the market kiosk any Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am – noon, at the EFM business office at 702 Commercial, Suite B-3.
All proceeds from this Pasta Palooza fundraiser event benefit the operations of the Emporia Farmers Market.
