Burrito Fundraiser at Saturday’s Market to Benefit Plumb Place
There will be burritos for breakfast at the Emporia Farmers Market on Saturday, June 4. This breakfast fundraiser benefits Plumb Place, a home providing safe, affordable housing for women in Emporia. The market starts at 8am in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant and goes until the vendors sell out. Plan to arrive early for the best selection. Upcoming Market Events: Saturday, June 11 - Biscuits and Gravy Fundraiser by The Shady Shifters, bike team raising money for the fight against multiple sclerosis. Saturday, June 11 - Music by Savanna Chestnut Wednesday, June 15 - First Wednesday market of the season starts at 5pm. SOS will be giving away reusable tote bags to the first 200 shoppers. ________________________ Vendors who sell at the Emporia Farmers Market grow, bake, or craft the items they sell.
