Burritos for Breakfast, One More Time This Season!

Saturday, October 1, will be your last chance of the season to grab an EFM burrito for breakfast. Our burritos are made from local ingredients (even the cheese and the tortillas are made in Kansas). Those farm fresh eggs, bacon, sausage and peppers you find in the variety of burritos we put together are purchased from our vendors and lovingly put together by friends of the market. All proceeds from our breakfast burrito fundraisers go to support market operations.

Thank you for your support throughout the season.

2-for-1 Matching Program for Vision Cardholders Ended for the 2011 Market Season

As of September 24, Emporia Farmers Market has matched $1,500 in market tokens for Vision cardholders. This completes our 2-for-1 program for the season.

We would like to thank, once again, the Emil Babinger Charitable Foundation for giving us the opportunity to promote the SNAP benefits program through our market. This is the second year in a row that EFM has been able to match dollars spent at the market by state of Kansas Vision cardholders bringing the total dollars matched in 2010-2011 to $2,500.

Vision cardholders are invited to shop the Emporia Farmers Market year round. See a volunteer at the market kiosk for information on how to purchase tokens that can be redeemed for eligible food items at the market.
