Live music at the Emporia Farmers Market on Saturday, May 26, will be provided by Bill Ihling and Jane McCoy. Jane and Bill are Emporia-based musicians who combine their talents for an eclectic mix of songs from several diverse genres: old and new country to 60s pop to classic "Americana" and contemporary. Their voices combine to produce a lovely and distinctive harmony, while Jane's cello adds a whole new dimension to the typical "acoustic guitar due" sound.
Markets take place in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant every Saturday, starting at 8:00 AM. Wednesday markets will begin on June 6, starting at 5:00PM. For more about market news and a full calendar of events, see their website online at www.emporiafarmersmarket.org.
