Shoppers can expect to see a big load of pumpkins at the Emporia Farmers Market on Saturday, September 29, starting at 8 AM. The Jirak Brothers Produce truck, well known for its watermelon and cantaloupe, will be loaded with fall pumpkins. The usual assortment includes pie pumpkins, as well as larger pumpkins suited for decorating. A wide variety of colors, shades and textures will be available.
Music at Saturday’s market will be providing by Bill Ihling, a market vendor, as well as EFM board member. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the melodies by the market’s favorite singing farmer.
