Some say it's not a holiday until you have Pfefferneuse.

Naomi Brenzikofer of the County Flower Shed, often tucks pepper nuts this time of year between her fresh farm eggs and produce at Indoor Winter Farmers Markets.

Also known as Pepper Nuts, these small round cookies are a German holiday tradition. Naomi flavors her Pepper Nuts with anise and cinnamon for a crunchy treat that goes good with coffee, tea, egg nog... or just about anything!
