St. Patrick’s Day at the Indoor Winter Market

You can count on the Emporia Farmers Market for St. Patrick’s Day treats and delicious baked goods. Those who arrive at the market early, starting Saturday at 10AM, will have the opportunity to take home some fresh and local greens! Market products this time of year include romaine lettuce, spinach, carrots, radishes, fresh farm eggs, yeast breads, a variety of cookies, popcorn, and assorted treats. Live and cut herbs, as well as starter plants and seeds for gardens are for sale, as well. The market is also the place to pick up a one-of-a-kind gift of jewelry, decorative bags, yard ornaments and other handmade items.

Live music will be provided by Anton Zouplna III. Stop for a cup of coffee while you sit and listen as this talented young man entertains with a tasteful mix of guitar instrumentals.

The Indoor Winter Market takes place on the first and third Saturdays through April at the Emporia Humanitarian Center, 215 W. 6th Avenue. For more details about the market or about becoming a market vendor, please see the EFM website at or contact market manager, Tracy Simmons, at 620-343-6555.
