The second Indoor Winter Market of the season will take place on Saturday, November 16, from 10:00am to noon at the Emporia Humanitarian Center, 215 W. 6th Avenue. The market will feature live musical entertainment by Lee Muller of Americus.
Produce expected at Saturday’s market includes apples, carrots, cucumbers, spinach, lettuce, red and green tomatoes, bell peppers, radishes, turnips, pumpkins and mustard greens. Both fresh and dried herbs will be for sale, as well as dried pears, local honey, and apple cider. Fresh farm eggs should be at the market in abundance. Customers can look forward to a wide variety of baked goods, including yeast and quick breads, cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, fruit pies and more.
