Jane McCoy, Saturday's market musician, offers a potpourri of sounds and smiles to help enrich our warm and friendly atmosphere. She'll be performing a solo set including folk, jazz, blues, celtic, pop, and more. Jane has a wide variety of musical interests and shares that interest by giving beginning cello lessons and playing in the Emporia Symphony Orchestra, another wonderful community jewel. Performing at the Market combines several of her life interests; gardening, sustainability, connecting with people, and organic music making. The Indoor Winter Market is open 10:00am till noon on Saturday, April 5, at the
Humanitarian Center 215 W. 6th Avenue.
Produce at recent markets includes carrots, kale, spinach, radishes, romaine lettuce, and apples. Cider, honey, apple butters, jams, jellies, homemade egg noodles and a variety home baked goods, including yeast breads, cinnamon rolls, and cookies are available at every market. The market is also your source for fresh farm eggs, grass fed and oat fed beef products, and original crafts by local artists.
The final Indoor Winter Markets of the season take place the first and third Saturday of April. Join us on Facebook, or sign up for free market e-reminders and monthly e-newsletters at www.emporiafarmersmarket.org.
