The Emporia Farmers Market welcomes the women from Centro Cristiano de Emporia to the market on Saturday. They will be selling Beef Enchiladas, 3 for $5.00, to raise funds for a women’s ministry event they are bringing to Emporia in the fall.
The market opens at 8am on Saturday, July 18, in the parking lot between 7th and 8th on Merchant, downtown Emporia.
Produce expected at the market includes beets, cantaloupe, sweet corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, green beans, herbs, onions, plums, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, and zucchini. Vendors will have a variety of baked goods, including homemade breads, pies and sweets. The market also includes vendors with original arts and crafts items, homemade dog treats, eggs, honey, apple cider and additional products, changing and growing with the season.
A complete calendar of events and directory of vendors, including attendance schedule for occasional vendors, can be found on the market website, emporiafarmersmarket.org and at facebook.com/emporiaFM.
