SNAP/EBT Benefits
The Emporia Farmers Market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits for eligible food purchases.
SNAP participants can use their benefits to purchase a variety of fresh, local foods from participating vendors at the market.

Using Your SNAP/EBT Cards at the Market
1: Visit the Market Information Booth
Find our helpful staff in the kiosk in the middle of the parking lot.
2: Swipe your EBT Card
We will run your card at the Market Info Booth and give you tokens to spend with our Vendors on SNAP-eligible items.
3: Use Your Tokens
Shop with your tokens with participating vendors.

Double Up Food Bucks
Double Your Fresh Produce Dollars
The market participates in the Double Up Food Bucks program, which helps SNAP shoppers purchase even more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (KSFMNP)
The Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (KSFMNP) helps eligible seniors purchase fresh, locally grown food directly from authorized farmers at participating markets.
Eligible participants may receive benefits to purchase:

Herbs
-
Locally produced honey
The Emporia Farmers Market also provides additional matching dollars for qualifying seniors while supplies last.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for KSFMNP, participants generally must:
